　　We currently have an opening for a Staff Accountant to join our Home Office in Winter Park, FL. The Staff Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day accounting for each location while adhering to policies and procedures, performing requisite month end close activities.

　　Overview & Responsibilities:

　　Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports

　　Compiles and analyze financial information, prepare entries to general ledger accounts and documenting business transactions

　　Performs data entry input in connection with preparation of reports

　　Performs assigned duties in connection with month-end close process

　　Complies with standard operating procedures and policies

　　Responds to inquiries from internal and external parties

　　Prepares and posts journal entries

　　Prepares general ledger account reconciliations to explain variances from prior periods and budgets

　　Communicates with location personnel regarding financial performance

　　Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential

　　Requirements & Qualifications:

　　Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required

　　Minimum two years of experience in financial accounting

　　Workday experience is preferred

　　Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (Excel proficiency is required)

　　Strong oral and written communication skills

　　Strong organizational skills, and high levels of integrity, ingenuity, and initiative

　　Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment and flexibility to work hours needed to meet deadlines is critical for this position

　　Must be able to work in a team, recognize problems and offer potential solutions
