SUMMARY
Responsible for providing daily account support services forexisting/assigned surety bond clients, soliciting of new business onexisting accounts, and support of Producer-led new business efforts.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Prepares various types of bonds, including but not limited to bid,contract, miscellaneous and court bonds;* Prepares consents of surety, riders, bond-ability letters and otherdocuments requested by clients;* Prepares indemnity agreements and bond applications;* Manages accurate electronic bond files in SurePath;* Generates bond reports from SurePath as needed by clients;* Handles countersignature requirements;* Coordinates receipt of underwriting information as requested by surety;* Confirms that bonds are issued in compliance with surety lines ofauthority;* Assists in obtaining surety approval of bonds outside of / in excess ofsurety lines of authority;* Supports Producer in developing new surety business opportunities forexisting clients and prospects;* Reviews client accounting history, responds to accounting inquiries,corrects discrepancies, and contacts client on receivable collections;* Provides technical guidance to staff assisting with client needs orprocedural issues;* Notifies brokers of pertinent information related to client retention;* Meets with clients as needed or directed by Producer;* Collection of fees, reconciliation and resolution of any outstandingbalances within 90 days of invoicing date;* Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity(enters complete and accurate information);* Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION / EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceSix (6) or more years related work experienceProven working knowledge of suretyMaintains a Notary Public designationMaintains Power of Attorney appointments with surety companiesValid insurance license requiredMust continue to meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewalSKILLSExcellent verbal and written communication skillsGood leadership, problem solving, and time management skillsAdvanced analytical skillsGood customer service skills, including telephone and listening skillsGood planning, organizational, and prioritization skillsAbility and motivation to work independentlyAbility to work within team and to foster teamworkProficient in Microsoft Office products#LI-RF1
