We are currently seeking an Account Manager on our Business Insuranceteam in the Chicagoland area.
The Account Manager is at the center of ensuring the successful deliveryof exceptional service to our clients. Working with the Producer and/orAccount Executive, they plan, execute, and track a customized serviceplan for each client. The Account Manager builds effective, personalizedworking relationships with clients and prospective clients, learningtheir risk and insurance program needs. They engage the full serviceteam and resources as appropriate to create measurable value andefficiencies in our clients\' businesses. The Account Manager also hasan understanding of the marketplace and industry, and uses thatexpertise in placing coverage and negotiating terms and conditions onbehalf of clients. Managing the proposal and renewal processes, theAccount Manager supports clients in reviewing coverage and programoptions and understanding associated details. The Account Manageroversees the accuracy of client information in our agency managementsystem, facilitating a collaborative service experience and empoweringour client portal.
EXECUTION OF CLIENT SERVICE
Works with Producer and/or Account Executives, service team, andother internal departments to plan, execute, and track customizedservice strategy for each client, designed to create measurablevalue and efficiencies in their businessesManages creation of proposals, providing summary of programs andoptions, service plan, and other specific deliverables designed tosupport clients in making decisions about insurance programsBuilds personalized client relationships through demonstratedownership of the service plan and multiple channels of communicationsuch as phone, email, and in-person meetingsAnalyzes risk, coverage, program structure and recommends options;executes coverage and program changesOversees the accuracy and display of information in client portals;consults with and enacts client decisions on access to portal bytheir staffLeverages insurance knowledge and communication skills to explaincoverage terms, program options, and other items to clients asneededWorks with internal departments to ensure cohesiveness andtimeliness of service execution, and creates report of service planexecution through commitment reportTakes an enterprise-wide approach to client service by collaboratingwith other service teams to create a cohesive client serviceexperienceManages time effectively to prioritize workload, client servicerequests, and service parameters on business processesMARKET STRATEGY AND NEGOTIATION
Works with service team to effectively manage and oversee newbusiness and renewal processes by following workflow procedures andbest practicesCreates submission for underwriters, by engaging with clients andprospective clients on their exposures, coverages and program needs,assembling into submission package following best practicesCommunicates with underwriters on submissions and negotiatespremium, coverage, and other terms on behalf of clientsEvaluates coverage, terms, and conditions of quotes received fromunderwriters; compares quote options from multiple carriers andpresents coverage comparisons as requestedRemains current on forms, coverage, insurance carriers, industrytrends, and legislationMaintains positive working relationships with insurance carriers,attends meetings and events as appropriate, and proactively learnsabout their products and underwriting approachesDATA AND PROCESS INTEGRITY
