We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Solutions Account Executive to join our fast-growing Online Sales Organization team. You’ll be responsible for outreach to and building relationships with clients in your book of business and region. You’ll strategically sell solutions that help SMB customers achieve their marketing objectives. You’ll strive to meet and exceed quota, always acting in the best interest of the client and aligning with LinkedIn’s culture and values while contributing to the exciting dynamic of the team.
Responsibilities:
Grow revenues from SMB clients in your book of business and consistently achieve or exceed quota expectations
Achieve quarterly client coverage and depth of engagement goals
Leverage existing and new relationships with current accounts to grow revenue in strategic product areas
Develop and execute a strategic plan for your book of business leveraging LinkedIn’s various tools and processes for book segmentation and engagement
Develop and maintain subject matter expertise on LinkedIn Marketing Solutions offerings
Educate clients on their opportunities using your digital media expertise and be an expert at translating their marketing goals and objectives into actionable strategies on LinkedIn’s Marketing Platform
Provide updates to the management team on your pipeline and sales forecast and Objectives and Key results
Be proactive about solving problems and be ready to take on additional initiatives and responsibilities as they emerge.
*Basic Qualifications: *
3 years + of professional experience in a sales position
3+ years of work experience in digital media sales, account management or a closely related function
Fluency in Dutch and English
*Preferred Qualifications: *
Experience in digital or social media sales
Experience in marketing or in a role making recommendations to marketers
Knowledge of how Internet advertising technology works and the ability to explain it in ordinary terms
Experience in a sales quota carrying role
Ability in activating and growing existing business
Experience in sales connecting with customers, identifying their needs, and upselling and cross selling solutions to them
Proven communication skills across multiple channels (e.g virtual meetings, phone, and email)
Experience building relationships with top marketing decision-makers
Proven ability in activating and retaining new business
Proven ability to manage a sizable volume of clients/accounts
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Proven ability to navigate change
