About Academic Support - SEL Elementary Engagement Coach (TOSA)

  Academic Support - SEL Elementary Engagement Coach (Teacher on Special Assignment) Full Time Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Engagement Coach will assume the responsibility and obligation to improve the proficiency of colleagues in their implementation of student engagement strategies. Elementary Engagement Coaches will help other staff members examine their behavior and performance and assist with the implementation of Catalyst Strategies. Duties: Facilitate the implementation of Catalyst Strategies at assigned school sites. Complete coaching cycles with staff. Serve as a resource for teachers in managing student behavior. Certify staff members in Catalyst Foundational Skills. Work collaboratively with building administration. Minimum Qualifications: School Social Worker License. (Anoka-Hennepin will make every effort to hire teachers with full standard licenses in the assigned subject and grade level.) Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Training in Advanced Catalyst Skills preferred. Start Date: ASAP after closing. This position may be filled immediately after 7 posting days (after: 1/5/24) by an appropriately licensed candidate (PELSB Tier 3 or Tier 4 license).
