About Academic Support - Intervention Teacher (TOSA) (Long Term Sub)

  Academic Support - Intervention Teacher (TOSA) Long Term Sub Provide building level support to implement the high school commitments at each site. Work collaboratively to support building needs in a variety of areas including Tier 1 Core Programming in Advisory and Classrooms. Provide a "burst of support" to students who have been most impacted by the pandemic. Duties: Support the implementation of "Safe Spaces". Serve as a member of the building MTSS team. Collaborate with administrative team to support intellectual engagement of students and first best instructional practices. Support Tier 1 Core Programming: work collaboratively with building administration, achievement coaches, TALs, and teachers to support delivery of essential standards; and support Collaborative Teams in structures for intervention and enrichment to be offered during advisory. Support Tier 2 Intervention: work collaboratively with building teams to determine how students will be eligible for Tier 2 interventions. Minimum Qualifications: Requires Any Secondary License. (Anoka-Hennepin will make every effort to hire teachers with full standard licenses in the assigned subject and grade level.) Start Date: Approx 4/12/24 thru 6/7/24. This position may be filled immediately after 7 posting days (after: 1/30/24) by an appropriately licensed candidate (PELSB Tier 3 or Tier 4 license); or by a candidate eligible for PELSB Tier 2 license (candidate must be enrolled in a teacher prep-program or have a Master's degree in the content area), or OFP (Out of Field Permission) after a 15-day posting period.
