　　Maxim Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Speech-LanguagePathologist. The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for performingstudent evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services inaccordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student andphysician's orders when applicable.

　　EssentialDuties and Responsibilities:

　　· Assesses students’ communication skills (e.g.articulations, fluency, voice, expressive and receptive language, etc.) for thepurpose of identifying communication disorders, determining program eligibilityand developing recommendations for treatment

　　· Coordinates meetings and processes for eligiblestudents (e.g. testing/screening, IEPs, parent conferences, pre-referralstaffing, etc.) for the purpose of presenting evaluation results, developingtreatment plans, and/or providing training to parents/students/staff

　　· Develops treatment plans, interventions and/oreducational materials for the purpose of minimizing the adverse impact ofcommunication disorders in compliance with regulatory requirements

　　· Instructs eligible students in the use of appropriatecommunication technologies (e.g. hearing aids, FM systems, augmentativecommunication devices, etc.) for the purpose of minimizing the adverseeducational impact of communication disorders in accordance with establishedguidelines and legal requirements

　　· Maintains files and/or records (e.g. progressreports, activity logs, billing information, treatment plans, requireddocumentation, quarterly reports, screening results, etc.) for the purpose ofensuring the availability of information as required for reference and orcompliance

　　· Participates in meetings, workshops, andseminars (e.g. training, IEPs, team meetings, etc.) for the purpose ofconveying and/or gathering information

　　· Provides speech and language therapy to studentsfor the purpose of minimizing the adverse impact of speech and languagedisorders on student success

　　MinimumRequirements:

　　· Hold a License as a Speech Language Pathologist(SLP) in the state of assignment, CCC-SLP preferred.

　　· Previous school experience preferred

　　· Demonstrate excellence in verbal and writtencommunications

　　· Experience with collaborative groups andprocesses in a student-centered environment

　　· Other qualifications of academic, professional,and personal excellence as the Governing Board may specify
