In this role, you will work with a team of Model-Based Systems Engineers, supporting the Navy's digital transformation initiatives. Projects will encompass creating models for cybersecurity assessments, implementing MBSE approaches, and enhancing MBSE tools for Navy programs.
Position Overview:
As a Model-Based System Engineer - Junior , you will have the exciting opportunity to:
Develop, integrate, and simulate digital models of Navy systems.
Extract and abstract data from Navy technical documents for system models.
Utilize Cameo Systems Modeler to construct representative Navy platform, system, and process models.
Create models to support various analysis methods tailored to customer requirements.
Experience Level/Education/Clearance Requirements:
1-3 years of professional experience.
Bachelor's Degree (BS) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.
Proficiency in distributed team collaboration.
Strong written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated use of Microsoft Office products for budgeting, reporting, and presentations.
Exceptional attention to detail and writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Magic Draw, Cameo Systems Modeler, CATiA, or other SysML/Modeling tools.
Familiarity with shipboard control systems, information technology, and network infrastructure.
Understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
OCSMP SysML Certifications.
Strong preference for candidates with experience modeling or simulating Naval applications or similar domains.
Clearance Requirements:
Current/active Secret clearance.
United States Citizen.
Physical Requirements:
This 100% remote position requires work from a home office or another suitable remote location.
The role involves extended periods of stationary work at a desk or computer.

The projected compensation range for this position is $56,200-$93,300. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
