Description3rd Shift Forklift OperatorWhat you'll do:Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Receive, check in and put away stock such as steel conduit, PVC conduit, Steel channel, cable and steel components "Safely, quickly and accuratelyNotify Distribution Lead of any variances in paperworkPull Orders utilizing 8K,10K,12K lbs. High Capacity Sit Down ForkliftLoad 10' to 20' bundles safely while maneuvering through warehouseLoad and configure Flatbeds with multiple stops ensuring weight is distributed evenlyLoad and Unload PVC or Steel conduit Safely in Rainy weather conditions.Perform Cycle Count as requiredOperate different types of equipment dependent on job to be executedEnsure tasks are performed according to standard operating procedures and regulationsWarehouse organizationIdentify Safety Hazards in the workplaceAttend the daily GEMBA meeting with management and other distribution employeesAssist in meeting performance to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Innovation goalsWhat you'll bring:3 years experience driving a high capacity forklift in a distribution center or Pipe/Lumber yard using a forklift with 6' or 7' forks.Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.High School diploma or equivalentGood attendance and punctuality1 - 2 years of JDE or WMS experience preferredDetail orientedWithin 3 months, you'll:Complete all required trainingHave developed relationships with the key stakeholders for this roleBe well-versed in Atkore's Business System and the importance of your role to daily operationsWho we are:Atkore is a recipient of a Great Place to Work certification and a Top Workplaces USA award!
