　　Operates building systems and such companies, which require a State of Massachusetts Engineers License. Performs heavy repair work and carries out preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled or requested. Communicates with clients and tenants on a regular basis generates logs and/or reports as required.

　　Job Title: 3rd Class Stationary Engineer

　　Job Summary: Operates building systems and such companies, which require a State of Massachusetts Engineers License. Performs heavy repair work and carries out preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled or requested. Communicates with clients and tenants on a regular basis generates logs and/or reports as required.

　　Organizational Relationship:

　　Reports to BTE Account Manager.

　　Receives direct reports from 2 nd Class Fireman.

　　Cooperates with and assists others in a common effort to promote goodwill and Company growth.

　　Perform additional duties as requested by the Account Manager or Client representative.

　　Specific Responsibilities:

　　Holds a current license as a Third Class Engineer (MA).

　　Ability to operate valves and associated HVAC components.

　　Ability to climb 20 feet on a ladder maintaining balance to perform work/repairs.

　　Knowledge of HVAC equipment to enable proper servicing and repairs.

　　Ability to effectively communicate with subordinates and customers/tenants orally or in print.

　　Operate chiller/turbines/boilers.

　　Perform calculations for utility use, watch steam etc.

　　Qualifications:

　　Minimum 3 to 5 years direct experience in boiler operations and maintenance.

　　State issued Stationary 3 rd Class Engineer

　　Strong communication skills both written and verbal along with good customer service skills.
