Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
We manufacture stainless steel tanks for the dairy industry, ensuring that most welds are food-grade or sanitary. The Production Supervisor will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and maintaining departmental and individual goals and performance measures. This position requires coordinating workload requirements, scheduling, managing staffing needs, and leading performance evaluations, development, discipline, and terminations. The supervisor will also ensure employees adhere to all work instructions and quality requirements, actively motivate team members, and lead strategic projects. Collaboration on continuous process improvement and cost reduction plans is essential, as is participation in Lean Management Systems and Kaizen events. The supervisor is expected to drive and sustain 5S Housekeeping efforts, train new employees, inspect finished products for quality, and contribute ideas for workflow and process improvement.

This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Beloit, Wisconsin.
Work Environment
3:30pm to 2:00am, Monday through Thursday. The 2nd shift will eventually have about 75 people, with the supervisor managing 30 to 35 employees. Currently, the 2nd shift has about 40 people. This position may require overtime, night shift, and weekend work hours. The work environment may include exposure to extreme heat, humidity, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, loud noise, and all-weather conditions. Pay is $75,000 to $85,000 per year.
