Description:
Operating manufacturing equipment for mail processing (they manufacture envelopes, postcards, business cards, etc)
Responsibilities:
• Loading and unloading paper material (for envelopes, business cards, etc) into the machine
• Set-up the envelope machines for production runs including size changes for envelopes, windows
and printing.
• Perform machine start-up and shut down and ensure that proper adjustment of the machines are
being applied
• Monitor the machines on a continuous basis to ensure consistent operation and quality of product
• Ensure that proper materials and components are selected and used for each job. Return unused
materials and components to inventory after use.
• Clear complex jams and assist the Envelope Operators Q&C, to support consistent operation of the
machine
• Check the quality of the first envelopes on each machine and approve 1 sample by signature that will
be located at the packing table as the quality reference for that day beginning of shift. Check during
production the quality every 15,000 produced.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum1 year of machine operation experience
• Minimum of 3-5+ years working as equipment adjuster
• Attention to detail
• Comfortable with computers
• Ability to perform basic math including use of fractions and measurements
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
