2nd Shift Kill Floor Supervisor

HOURS:

2nd Shift- flexible as needed or requiredDUTIES:

Supervise, evaluate and direct production employees on shift in performing operations according to policies and procedures

Stimulate maximize safety, efficiency, quality and productivity of production employees

Ensure proper training of employees

Monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient production

Work closely with other production supervisors and management to promote efficiency and teamwork in the department

Attend meetings as scheduled and called

Perform other duties as needed or assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have overall knowledge of the Kill Floor Operation and the industry

Knowledge and technical skills in a variety of production jobs

Must be people oriented, be able to understand employee’s needs, good motivator, and be able to teach new skills to employees

Understand and comply with Company policy and procedures

High school diploma or GED equivalent required

Great communications skills, both verbal and written

Excellent organizational, math and statistical skills

Good work history and attendance

Team Player with leadership skills

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits :

Benefits : Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

Paid Time Off : sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;

401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;

Base annual salary range of $63k-$68k

Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s quarterly bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
