The Corix team has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator in Jasper, GA. This position supports the delivery of projects of varying size and complexity, primarily related to water and wastewater utilities. The role will be responsible for coordinating, organizing, and controlling project activities under the direction of the manager.
What you'll doHandle project documentation, including filing, processing invoices and change orders, financial reporting, and requests for expenditure.Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Communicate relevant project information to internal or external project stakeholders, facilitate communication between parties, and create and maintain activity and progress reports.Assist with engineering proposals and bids, monitors project budgets, construction activity and coordinates timing with operations as needed.Provide support to the project and perform various project and/or field assignments under direction from the direct manager, Area Manager, or Project Manager.Ensure project needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner by tracking all budget related information such as hours worked and expenses, preparing invoices and requests for expenditure, assisting with budget and report preparation.Coordinate contractor help with projects as needed, which may include reviewing reports or proposals from external engineers or contractors, and ensuring action items are addressed in a timely manner.Adhere to document management processes and assists with the preparation, review, submission of project documents. Paperwork may include: POs, invoices, legal documents, Letters of Intent, Request for Proposals, bid evaluations, contracts, quotes, bids, and notifications to bidders, project close-out documents, etc.Ensure contract fulfillment by communicating requirements to external parties (such as contractors, developers, engineers), and notifies management of escalations or items that could impact project success.Coordinate and complete the work necessary to obtain approval on emergency projects.Based on project need, may order and ship new materials, tracks inventory, and forecasts what materials are required to ensure optimal inventory management.Assist the Director, State Operations with monthly capital spending review, yearly capital planning and status of all open projects.May facilitate the project design process: ensuring timelines are adhered to, assemble required construction drawings for review, and track and report on progress of design and construction identifying any risks to timelines in a proactive manner.Attend project/capital meetings as required.

Education and ExperienceYears of experience would be considered for educationBachelor's degree in Engineering or in a similar field preferred OR Post-secondary technical diploma
