Job Description:

　　The data science team is supporting data analytics for process development activities. Typically, biologic processes generate a lot of experimental data that require application of machine learning (ML) to help extract novel insight about the process.

　　In this role you will work with the scientists in the lab to access, extract, prepare and analyze the data generated from their experiments and propose suggestions to optimize the productivity and the quality of the process.

　　This internship will also provide opportunities to support the assessment of large language models (LLM) to analyze scientific literature in order to leverage existing published knowledge in expert areas. You will assess the best approach to query external sources of information and provide guidelines to scientists to improve on their use of Generative AI/LLM.

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　Pursuing a Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, or Biology etc.

　　Experience using programming languages such as Python, or R

　　Working knowledge of data analytics, machine learning

　　Must enroll in INROADS program

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Experience with Bioprocessing unit operations or chemistry
