Maintenance Technician - Direct Placement

　　1st Shift

　　3 weeks of vacation

　　$25-$34/hr+ (based off experience)

　　Job Description:

　　This position will be the only maintenance person onsite. They are currently outsourcing the work and want to bring it in house. This person will be troubleshooting, repairing, and PM work on all of their CNC machinery. They have various Mills, Lathes, and Swiss Lathes in the facility.

　　Seeking someone who is able to perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery, facility equipment, and physical structures according to safety and preventive maintenance systems and processes. Someone who is interested in helping run this program!

　　KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

　　Installs new production machinery and equipment

　　Visually inspects and listens to machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions

　　Diagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests, and adjusts

　　Detects faulty operations, defective materials or/or equipment and reports as required

　　Dismantles machines and equipment to gain access to problem area

　　Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems

　　Provides emergency service and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs to production equipment during machine service

　　Starts machines and equipment to test operation following repair

　　Repairs broken parts, replaces defective parts and motors, belts, and adjusts feed mechanisms

　　Connects wire to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replaces switches and fuses, and splices wire and insulates wire with friction tape

　　Performs regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment

　　Patches or replaces plaster/plaster board and paints walls, ceilings, and trim of buildings

　　Clears clogged drains and replaces plumbing fixtures

　　Cleans work areas, tools, and equipment

　　Removes dirt, dust, grease, and waste material from machines

　　Cleans and lubricates machine parts

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Must have at least 5 years of industrial machine repair troubleshooting

　　Must have own tools

　　hydraulic repair experience

　　some electrical

　　ability to use a computer for basic functions
