JOB REQUIREMENTS: Set-up and operate lathes under minimal supervision.Current lathes include: CTX400 Lathe, CTX Beta800V3 Lathe, Citizen A2-Swiss machine, and Haas ST10 Lathe. Verify settings by measuringpositions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to ISOstandards. Inspect first piece and in-process pieces to ensure parts areto specification or drawing. Maintain specifications by observingdrilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling andthread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions;troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls;monitoring tool life; adhering to quality assurance procedures andprocesses. Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenancerequirements; following manufacturer\'s instructions; troubleshootingmalfunctions; calling for repairs. Follow instructions, move parts,cleaning, maintenance, blueprint reading. Ability to hold tighttolerances (.0002\" to .0005\"). Complete all related paper work - workorders, inspection documents, and tracking sheets as required.***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Needs to have extensiveknowledge of various metals and related cutting tools.
