Position Summary
The primary responsibility of the Human Resource Coordinator is coordinating the Division’s recruitment process. Including, forecasting staffing needs, hosting recruiting events, and improving upon the current recruitment and interview process. The Human Resource Coordinator would manage the current ATS system, Recruiting Gateway, including the posting of jobs, updating job descriptions, and closing jobs.
Pay Range
$25.00/hr. - $30.00/hr.
Essential Functions
Performs analysis of hiring needs and provides employee forecast based on growth on the division’s programs.
Work with Corps Officers and Program directors and managers directly to determine current and future staffing needs.
Maintain applicant date base “Recruiting Gateway” ensuring postings are fresh, closed out and all applicants have dispositions selected once candidate has accepted position.
Assist with sourcing through use of multiple recruitment tools i.e. search engines, professional and social media Facebook, Linked In.
Post all open positions within the Division timely on appropriate job sites internally and externally.
Develop relationships with work source programs and EDD local offices.
Develop applicant pool for entry level employees willing to work temp or extra positions within the Division.
Assist PTM Coordinator with processing of volunteers backgrounds as needed.
Review and update current position descriptions, ensuing clarity position and essential functions are clearly defined.
Review resumes and qualifications aligning candidates with staffing needs and objectives.
Attend and Host Job fairs, both internally and externally.
Build relationships with colleges and universities for New Grad and Intern recruitment.
Pre-Screen applicants when needed by the Division.
Assist in develop selection process that coincides with succession planning and growth of the organization.
Drafts and sends offer letters and all pre hiring documents for candidates.
Tracking recruitment efforts ensure they are supportive of TSA Affirmative Action Plans.
Monitor any goals associated with our hiring practices that are revealed from the Affirmative Action Plan.
Keep informed of hiring trends and market salaries and make suggestion based on collected data.
Run Qt. reports on recruitment actives, and divisional employee turnover.
Stay current on all legal employment hiring practices.
Responsible for training calendar, upkeep and announcements to division.
Conduct training of ATS system throughout the division.
Assign training login’s for OTIS and Pryor Solutions.
Monitor and track all training activities within the division act as moderator for trainings as needed.
Monitor all incoming mail ensure proper handling.
Maintain mandatory employee postings for DHQ.
Complete all request for verification of employment.
Respond to all unemployment claims.
Assist HR Manager with on-boarding of all DHQ New Hires
On-time regular attendance is a must.
Other Duties as assigned by Divisional Director of Human Resources.
Working Conditions
Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to be able to lift up to 20 lbs. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinets drawers and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone.
Minimum Qualifications
AA degree preferred Bachelor of Arts in business plus.
2 years minimum recruiting experience.
Class C Driver’s License.
Proficient in Microsoft office, Power Point, Publisher, excel.

Ability to use a computer for word processing and data entry.
