Description:

　　Scope of work:

　　The Switch Install project will consist of 2 teams. Fiber pulling team and switch install team.

　　The Switch install team (team of 2) will be traveling behind the fiber pullers to decommission the old Switch and install new switches

　　Switch Techs will work 5 days a week to start the project Sunday - Thursday

　　Experience with fiber termination (fusion splice) and fiber troubleshooting, network switch troubleshooting, retro, and replacement, as well as scissor lift experience. They need to be able to follow a network switch cutsheet and be confident in network switch hot swaps.

　　Must have their own basic hand tools

　　This is a 100% traveling position, technicians will be given a van or rental vehicle

　　The duration is Feb through Oct

　　Overtime will be paid after 40 hours

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　Must be able to pull and terminate fiber using a fusion splicer working from 4-27-23 through up to 10-31-23 could be done by 8-23-23 but leaving the final date. Will have to pull a minimum of 10 fibers per location. terminate up 12 stands both sites per fiber pulled. be able to follow instructions and code when pulling fiber. need to be able to be a self starter and able to work well with a partner 6 days a week. need to make sure they are able to lift and carry 50 pounds throughout the day able to operate a scissor lift and explain when and how to operate the lift. able to meet the safety requirements for the project safety for boots and wear hard had safety glasses and a vest, and when in the lift wear and fit in to the safety harness able to meet the lift weight requirements. Be able to fill out the work order and take care of the tools provided by the office to do the job. tools required by the tech hand tools, screwdrivers both standard and Phillips snips punch down (impact), toner and probe, pliers, adjustable wrenches, joint pliers, lineman pliers. This project is up to 72 hours a week there are no guarantee 12 hour days you get paid what you work.
