The ideal candidate will be able to combine this with analytical and forward-looking enterprise that explains the significance of the day-to-day newsflow.

　　Beyond the merger, the candidate should be hungry to build sources and write insightful stories on Switzerland's broader banking landscape, from the world of private wealth-management to an evolving scene for sustainable investment and ESG.

　　The successful applicant should be able to work seamlessly with colleagues around the world, piece together intelligence, develop sources at the highest level and use data to break down complex subjects. The candidate should be as comfortable socializing with CEOs as they are combing balance sheets for hidden insights. Experience in covering finance and a high-level of German-language skills would be a major plus.
