  RESPONSIBILITIES: · Lead Warehouse Technicians and contractors and ensure that the expected standards of job performance and safety are met.

  · Maintain high Health, Environment, Safety & Security (HES&S) standards; lead and participate in activities supporting HES&S commitments. Ensure that employees/vendors adhere to safe practices and follow requirements in the storage and transportation of materials. Ensure team’s personal safety is a priority.

  · Provide leadership on warehouse daily operations across onsite facilities including the management of goods receipts, goods issues, picklists, stock put away, logistics, quality control/assurance, utilizing the most appropriate material handling and storage methods/equipment.

  · Provide leadership on local material management activities including cycle counting, obsolete/surplus material management, repairs/refurbishments, and running reports.

  · Collaborate with the Supply Chain Operations Materials Management group for material master creations/updates/deletions, daily Materials Requirement Planning (MRP), cycle counting, obsolete/surplus material management, repairs/refurbishments, and running reports.

  · Coach employees and participate in the performance management process/discussions. Lead the selection process for staffing of future open warehouse positions that support the organization supply chain strategies, goals, and objectives.

  · Lead, develop, identify, and report Cost Savings (Value Capture) in support of departmental goals and strategies.

  · Support internal Business Partners (Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, etc.). Seek to collaborate and effectively communicate with them to develop and maintain robust, sustainable relationships. Be proactive and understand organizational needs and then plan/align material management strategies to business partner goals.

  · Ensure compliance with all required Marathon policy, procedures and guidance and all industry and legislative requirements regarding logistics activities. This includes compliance by company personnel and contractors.

  · Lead, develop, and establish warehouse strategies and organizational goals; develop/track key performance indicators (KPI); utilize root cause analysis to improve performance. Develop short and long-term plans to increase the efficiency and optimization of warehousing functions and inventory; engage workforce in pursuing continuous improvement efforts; strive to achieve best in class status.

  · Develop/oversee training programs for new employees. Ensure employees/contractors maintain required training and certifications.

  · Coordinate with Supply Chain Director in developing warehouse budget and maintain financial discipline to meet the budget.

  · Provide as-needed, periodic support to the Dickinson Renewable Diesel Facility located in Dickinson, North Dakota.

  · Collaborate with Warehouse Leaders to drive efficiencies, sharing of lessons learned and development of best practices.

  Education and Experience:

  · Education: High School Diploma/ GED Required, BS from an accredited University focused in Supply Chain Management, Business Management / Administration or equivalent work experience preferred.

  · Experience Preferred: 8+ years’ experience managing or working in and around warehouse operations and/or supply chain related roles.

  · Computer Proficiencies: Proficient in use of MS Office products, Ariba, and ERPs (SAP).

  Minimum Qualifications:

  · Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or related field; demonstrated professional warehousing experience can be considered in lieu of degree.

  · Eight (8) or more years of experience in Warehousing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Materials Management, or related field.
