Description:Job Summary: Allied World is looking for a Compliance expert with high standards to ensure organizational adherence to cyber security regulations and standards, manage third-party risks, and oversee ongoing accreditation and cyber framework compliance. People in this role must be extremely good at problem solving and have strong technical ability and communication skills. They must be able to deal with ambiguity and be able to understand and provide solutions to complex problems.
Job Duties* Third-Party Cyber Risk Management: Lead the oversight of monitoring of third-party vendors cyber security practices. This includes signing off risk assessments and ensuring compliance with organizations cyber security standards.* Collaboration with Risk Management and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC): Work closely with the risk management and GRC. This involves identifying potential cyber threats, assessing their impact, and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.* Regulatory and Legal Cyber Request Review: Oversee the process of responding to regulatory and legal requests related to cyber security. Ensure that all responses are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.* Running Cyber Framework Compliance Processes: Manage the organizations Cyber Framework and accreditation. This includes overseeing the documentation of controls, managing audits, and ensuring ongoing accreditation compliance.* Policy Development and Implementation: Working alongside the Head of Cyber develop and implement policies and procedures related to cyber security compliance. Ensure these policies are up to date with current cyber trends and regulatory requirements.* Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with various internal and external stakeholders, including IT departments, external auditors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure comprehensive cyber compliance
