JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for an exceptional Lawyer to join our Legal team as a Senior Counsel/Vice President, Employment Litigation, Executive Compensation, and ESG (flexibility on level based on experience).
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all aspects of employment litigation and related administrative proceedings filed in New York and other StatesManage all aspects of annual structure and day-to-day implementation of public-company long-term incentive equity plan (U.S. and foreign) and provide legal advice on related SEC disclosure (proxy statement, section 16 filings, etc.)Periodically present seminars to Fox's employees on various topics (e.g., harassment, discrimination, and retaliation; etc.) and prepare materials as needed for those presentationsBe assigned to other non-litigation projects as needed (e.g., legal research, creating or revising Company policies and procedures, preparing legal update Memos for Human Resources and other executives; etc.)Oversee compliance with ESG-related and human capital management rules and regulations, and provide legal advice on designing, implementing, and disclosing ESG efforts in our CSR report, CDP, or other environmental-related reportsRegularly engage with ESG rating firms to provide the most updated informationRegularly provide legal advice and counseling to various Fox business units (News, Sports, Television Stations, etc.) on all aspects of employment law, including issues of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, the hiring process, discipline and terminations, leaves of absence, reasonable accommodations, wage and hour issues, employee investigations, etc.Regularly provide legal advice on HR-related global sourcing agreements (employee benefits, retirement, recruiters, etc.)Provide legal advice on the structure of subsidiary-level compensation plans (phantom stock, bonus plans)
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Law school degree with at least 6-8 years of employment litigation, executive compensation, and ESG experience at a top law firm (and/or in-house)Prior experience advising and counseling clients on employment, executive compensation, and ESG-related mattersAbility to formulate and execute litigation strategyAbility to work independently, but also collaboratively in team settings as neededAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of self-direction and sound judgmentNew York Bar admission

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $290,000.00-320,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
