  Position Summary...

  What you'll do...

  Want to use your critical thinking, customer obsession, and creativity to build a new local e-commerce shopping experience within Walmart's ecosystem? The Walmart Local Marketplace team is looking for a strategic leader to launch and scale a new capability within Walmart Marketplace: local alcohol delivery from 3 rd party sellers . This person will partner closely with Legal, Compliance, Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to develop our launch and expansion strategy and lead our GTM execution . They will develop program KPIs and analyze business progress, evaluate results and learnings, and deliver recommendations to drive outcomes and optimizations .

  About Walmart Local Marketplace

  The Local Marketplace team is a newly formed business team within Walmart Marketplace chartered with building and scaling new ways for customers to conveniently shop the local business and products they love within the Walmart app and Walmart.com.

  You're customer obsessed. You have experience developing and optimizing new customer experiences within tech You're data driven and leverage insights to make informed and impactful decisions. You build trust quickly and are an effective communicator. You are able to lead complex initiatives across various functions and stakeholders and have deep experience managing tech and product partnerships . Experience working closely with legal and compliance stakeholders a plus

  You're a strategic problem solver. You can break down complex and ambiguous issues, formulating and testing hypothesis and developing and communicating succinct recommendations You're a tenacious project leader; you enjoy getting in the weeds, you are detail-oriented and highly organized You understand the local e-commerce landscape and the last-mile delivery space. You are constantly looking for ways to set us apart from the competition and are passionate about retail tech. You have a proven track record of storytelling through data to influence business strategy, gain stakeholder buy-in and drive outcomes

  You'll make an Impact by

  Monitoring the performance of our recently launched alcohol delivery markets and operationalizing plans that can lead to higher customer satisfaction and conversion Becoming a n expert in alcohol operational compliance requirements and guiding cross functional partners with execution of marketplace improvements Researching alcohol delivery industry standards to inform both our business and product strategy Exhibiting a growth mindset and ability to operate i n ambiguous environments in a highly matrixed org

  What you'll need:

  3-5 years related experience in Consulting, Business Operations, Strategy, or related field Comfortable leading strategic initiatives and operationalizing tactical projects in a fast-paced environment, managing several priorities and staying organized throughout Demonstrates creativity, perseverance and flexibility in the face of change, obstacles, competing demands and priorities. You can work seamlessly Experience in consumer-focused retail or e-commerce environment Self-starter with analytical skills (SQL, Tableau, Looker experience preferred) Excellent critical thinking and communication skills

  Highly organized, experience program managing complex initiatives across stakeholders (business, tech, legal, etc. ) to manage timelines and deliver results. Conveys a sense of urgency to motivate others and achieve goals An entrepreneurial spirit and derive fulfillment from building new businesses initiatives from beginning stages

  Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

  The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00-$156,000.00

  Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

  Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

  - Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

  - Stock equity incentives

  Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations , or related field and 2 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 4 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area.
