　　What you'll do...

　　Contribute to an engineering team responsible for the backend service which supports the Walmart Scan and Go mobile application. Deliver product features which advance the business and customer experience, alongside engineering excellence efforts to improve availability and quality in our software stacks.

　　About Team:

　　Our team creates reusable technologies to help with customer acquisition, onboarding, and empowering merchants, while ensuring a seamless experience for both of these stakeholders. We also optimize tariffs and assortment in accordance with Walmart's Everyday Low Cost philosophy. We not only create affordability, but we also deliver customized experiences for customers across all channels - in-store, mobile app, and websites.

　　What you'll do:

　　write code and tests for changes to advance the customer experience and business benefit

　　design solutions that will help us to scale our space

　　review peer work and mentor/support peers in onboarding and learning phases

　　fix production issues affecting customers

　　support 24/7 oncall rotation for production incidents

　　What you'll bring:

　　write high quality code and tests

　　develop a thorough understanding of our space in relation to the business, customer, and peer engineering teams/stacks

　　be able to review peer code and designs as well as writing high quality design documents yourself

　　be able to deep dive production issues to establish clear root cause, mitigating actions, and future repair items

　　be able to respond quickly to live production incidents as part of oncall rotation

　　The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00-$264,000.00

　　Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
