  Sonographer

  ​ Under the direct supervision of the Radiologist and the Imaging Services Supervisor, this individual performs a variety of ultrasound procedures and related duties within their scope of practice and the policy and procedures of the department.  The scope of testing provided is for all patient ages, gender, culture and background.

  Generally Varies, As-Needed Basis

  Qualifications 

  Certification by the A.R.D.M.S. or registry eligible for sonography

  Ability to demonstrate competency in sonographic procedures

  Successful demonstration of competence in Basic Life Support (Health Care Provider)

  Experience with general computer applications
