Job Description
An employer is looking for an Electronic Warfare Engineer to sit at the Pentagon. This person will be responsible specifically on current and emerging capability development. This will include documentation on how to implement policy, doctrine, strategy, operating concepts, and other DAF guidance for the environment. In addition, they will need to know how each capability required for operating concept success will be developed from its current state to the state required for success and all the standards and specifications that go along with that! They will be a direct liaison with the industry experts, to communicate research, development, experimentation and demonstration needed to insert relevant technologies into EMS superiority capabilities to improve their processes/environment.
Day-to-Day responsibilities include:
* Develop EMS superiority capability development plans that implement policy, doctrine, strategy, operating concepts, and other DAF guidance. Capability development plans will:
o include details on how each capability required for operating concept success will be developed from its current state to the state required for success.
Skills and Requirements
* Active TSSCI Clearance
Former Air Force experience* 2-3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years' experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
* Experience in certification, authorization, and use of military systems or equivalent. Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related preferred.
* Experience designing, developing, and testing radio frequency (RF) and/or microwave systems architecture, components, circuits, or products. Including antenna design, both reflector and array systems, frequency synthesizers, transmitters and receivers.
* Proficient in the use of desktop or personal computers with associated software (i.e., word processing, graphics, database, spreadsheets, etc.) or other computer products as required by the applicable discipline. * Planning experience for large enterprise environments
* Any RF or Spectrum certifications null
