NVIDIA is seeking a creative, hard-working, and hands-on software Automation engineer with Automation & Tools to discover errors in products who is a quick learner, can understand software and hardware specifications, build reliable tests and tools to improve quality and accelerate delivery of NVIDIA products.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Software QA Automation and Tools Developer, you will take part in technical design and implementation of directed tests for NVIDIA software products with the goal to identify defects early in the software development lifecycle. You will also build tools that accelerate execution workflows for the organization. In this role you can expect to:
Automation for NVIDIA's device driver software and Implement automated tests, analyze results, identify, and report defects
Measure code coverage for the software under test, analyze and drive code coverage enhancements
Develop applications and tools that accelerate development and test workflows
Write fast, effective, maintainable, reliable, and well documented code and write effective test cases and test plans to test maximum code paths
Write efficient frameworks which are modular and scalable
Provide peer code reviews including feedback on performance, scalability, and correctness and Debug issues to identify the root cause
Optimally estimate and prioritize tasks in order to create a realistic delivery schedule
You will have the opportunity to work on challenging technical and process issues
Work closely with leadership to report progress by generating effective and useful reports
What we need to see:
Degree in Computer/IT/Electronics engineering or equivalent experience
2+ years of programming experience in C#.Net/Python with experience applying Object-Oriented Programming concepts
Experience working with databases technologies like SQL/NoSQL
Skilled at debugging issues and have experience using debugging tools like WinDBG/gdb
Would be a plus to have hands on experience in Web Application (React/Angular/ASP.Net, MVC, web services).
Develop tools to automate workflows and apply Deep Learning techniques
You should effectively collaborate with multiple development teams to gain knowledge and improve test code coverage
Excellent written and verbal communication
Work optimally with a team of engineers in a fast paced and multifaced environment
