A Snapshot of Your Day

　　Will be performing welding processes to fill and build surfaces on negative defects on the castings in our Gibsonton Florida Location. We use TIG welding and laser welding. This process is intended to reduce potential scrap by building up non-conforming surfaces.

　　How You’ll Make an Impact

　　Will maintain the flow and quality of parts produced

　　Working with Tig welding processes to fill and build surfaces

　　Will examine finished parts to ensure conformance to specifications

　　Maintaining the flow and quality of parts produced and continuously performing improvement analysis

　　Performing basic or specifically defined maintenance operations; collaborating with maintenance technicians and/or external service providers in repair issues

　　Cross-train and work on other duties as needed

　　What You Bring

　　High School Diploma or GED

　　Previous experience in Inspection or manufacturing will be a plus

　　5 or more years of experience in Tig Welding and/or Laser

　　1 year or more in experience in welding castings and nickel alloys

　　Able to stand during working hours for long periods

　　Ability to read Engineering instructions. (English)

　　Quality background will be a plus

　　Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers
