Jabil is seeking a Test Line Lead/Debug Line Lead to work in the Florence, KY location. The Test Line Lead/Debug Line Lead will provide leadership, motivation, and training to the work area by supervising team members and helping them to meet the company’s goals in terms of quality, schedule, yield, and productivity according to procedure. The qualified candidate will also coordinate the day-to-day activities or work area, from start of flow to finish. The schedule for the Test Line Lead/Debug Line Lead is Monday-Friday 3:30 pm - 12:00 am.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Full support for rack test area.
Coordinate priorities of the rack in the test.
Escalate any issues to the appropriate manager.
Performs middle-level troubleshooting on the production line.
Ability to maintain and do changeovers on all equipment on assigned line(s).
Provides recommendations to the engineering staff to improve line balancing and optimize machine programs, their set-ups to meet or exceed theoretical product run-rate, and line(s) efficiency.
To assist the Manufacturing Supervisor in managing the line whenever necessary or when instructed and to drive operators in achieving a satisfactory level of machine utilization and efficiency with minimum downtime.
To highlight to the Manufacturing Supervisor when there is a high fallout.
Achieve daily standards set by the Manufacturing Supervisor.
Able to identify and develop potential operators in handling the right equipment at the right time and motivate operators for greater throughput, quality, and efficiency.
To guide and assist the operators in the skills required to do their jobs.
Actively participate in the manufacturing floor to ensure visual standards.
Identify in real-time, quality issues/defects generated in the manufacturing process and take necessary actions immediately.
To serve as a communication link between operators and management.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High School Degree or equivalent required; Bachelors degree or Associates approved.
At least 2 years of experience working in Computer Service and working with computer hardware, or similar related environment, or other similar related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
Programming experience and experience with Linux is required.
General knowledge of electronic component handling.
Knowledge of process flows to include flow charts and written processes.
Reading, writing, and math skills.
Working Knowledge of Excel, Word, and other Microsoft programs..
Strong interpersonal skills are required, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain teamwork.
