eBusiness Suite Application Tools & Technology Technical Support
Preferred Qualifications Education & Experience:
B.A./B.S. in a technical field or equivalent experience required
3-5+ years relevant working experience (working with Oracle products would be a plus)
Prior experience in providing technical customer support
Ability to troubleshoot and debug ERP issues.
Functional/Technical Knowledge & Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
General understanding of ERP products (FMS, SCM, HCM, CRM) and exposure to associated systems and software (E-Business Suite [EBS])
Technical skills in any relational database (Oracle, SQL,PLSQL), operating systems (Microsoft Windows, UNIX®, Linux), programming languages, web technologies, and an analytical approach to troubleshooting
Understanding of structured SQL statements and how they are executed in the RDBMS
Ability to read and decipher software log and trace
Responsibilities
As a Sr. Support Engineer, you will be the technical interface to customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) for resolution of problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use of Oracle products. Have an understanding of all Oracle products in their competencies and in-depth knowledge of several products and/or platforms. Also, you should be highly experienced in multiple platforms and be able to complete assigned duties with minimal direction from management. In this position, you will routinely act independently while researching and developing solutions to customer issues.
