　　SYSTEMS ENGINEER

　　Leverage your Machine Learning and Big Data skills to take your CAREER to the "Next Level" for _2024 and beyond! _

　　Duration: 6 months with possible extension’s!!

　　Locations: New York , New York

　　Overview:

　　Our client currently seeks a Systems Engineer to develop and optimize solutions to create, maintain and ship scalable and high-quality model

　　assets for a multitude of languages that power Machine Translation products. You will be part of a motivated and dynamic team that is responsible

　　for managing data acquisition projects, training neural machine translation models, and driving evaluation criteria that help to establish an unprecedented

　　translation quality in all of clients’ products.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Utilize and improve model training pipelines in distributed computing environments

　　Maintain and optimize release schedules for model rollouts in various languages

　　Build robust tooling to support flexible quality checks for supported/new language pairs

　　Support teams in systematically managing various data assets and system resources

　　Keep track of experiments and results over time per task and language

　　Coordinate data acquisition efforts for new languages

　　Competencies:

　　Minimum of 2 years programming and software engineering skills (Python, C++, Java, or equivalent)

　　Experience in Machine Learning, such as building models for machine translation, speech recognition or natural language processing systems

　　Proven track record of working with Big Data: knowledge in distributed data processing frameworks is a must

　　Ability to manage complex processes across multiple stakeholders like engineering and research teams

　　Excellent communication skills and team player

　　Education: 4 year degree mandatory .

　　There is no per diem with this position.

　　There is no relocation budgeted for this position. If this position requires you to relocate you will be responsible for those costs.
