  The Role

  As the Sustainability Specialist working with the Sustainable Supply Chain Team, you’ll work closely with all functions of our business to assist KBR evidence their commitments to the Sustainable Supply Chain Charter, through data collection, interpretation, and analysis, administration of sustainability tools and supporting suppliers engage in better and more sustainable practices.

  Guided by our Sustainable Supply Chain Charter Delivery Plan, and Policy, you’ll be helping create guidance and tools for tracking Supply Chain sustainability, and reporting the Environment, Social & Governance (ESG) criteria in our external reports.

  You’ll be responsible for helping us improve our Carbon tracking programme for supplier carbon emissions and collating initiatives and savings to demonstrate climate action across a globally diverse portfolio.

  With such a varied role, you’ll have a unique opportunity to be engaged and help drive sustainability action plans and programmes across the entire supply chain and support the Sustainable Supply Chain Manager in delivering the Charter.

  Responsibilities

  We are looking for an individual who is solution oriented and an innovative thinker who can dive into the detail while staying focused on the bigger picture, who has an interest in Carbon data management and making a difference.

  Responsibilities include:

  Collate environmental quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis, including Greenhouse Gas emissions and sustainability criteria for scope 3 carbon,

  Support the implementation of our Sustainable Supply Chain Charter; tracking actions reporting progress to inform Executive leadership,

  Support the delivery of environmental and sustainability training, including carbon management across the supply chain and other sustainability subjects,

  Work with the KBR Procurement and supply chain team to support development of case studies to share Supply Chain sustainability achievements and good practice, and facilitate the Global Supplier Sustainability Awards,

  Participate in audits and provide technical environmental support (as required), researching global best practice and contributing to the development of training modules,

  Support procurement and supply chain teams in all Business Segments on how to embed sustainability in practice,

  Advocate KBR’s excellent environmental standards with internal and external stakeholders. Undertake research that informs the future strategy,

  Undertake competitor reviews, review industry benchmarks, and identify areas for improvement in KBR sustainable procurement performance.

  Support for the administrative of dedicated communication (email inbox and tracking sustainable supply chain allocations in preferred toolkits).

  Experience Requirements

  Experience with data desirable.

  Experience writing reports desirable.

  Technical Skills/Knowledge

  Knowledge of Carbon data, Green House gas Protocol and Scope 3 carbon emissions

  Power BI / excel skills an advantage.

  Qualifications/Certifications Requirements

  Educational

  Essential

  Degree level education.Desirable

  Degree involving climate change / data analytics / carbon management etc.

  Ability in performing both quantitative and qualitative analysis,

  Passion for Environment and sustainability.
