About Surgical Technologist (Operating Room) - Roger Williams Medical Center

　　UP TO $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

　　Summary: A Surgical Technologist is a member of the surgical team who assists the RN with delivery of direct patient care in the operative setting.

　　Education: In addition to the skills normally obtained through completion of a High School education, must also be a graduate from an accredited School of Surgical Technology.

　　Licensure: Certification required

　　Experience: 1-2 years minimum experience as a Surgical Technologist

　　Working Conditions: Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements: Stands, sits, walks, stoops, and lifts up to 25 pounds. Frequent lifting, moving, pushing, pulling, and transferring of patients and equipment. Exposure to hazardous material and blood and body fluid. Meets all safety requirements associated with the Medical Center.
