Reporting to the Senior Manager, US Refined Products Marketing, the successful candidate, will play a pivotal role in coordinating our commercial operations while being responsible for coordinating our efforts in over $15 billion in revenue annually. Including but not limited to coordinating strategies to enhance revenue and profit margins and supporting cross-functional teams while ensuring takeaway capacity for our refining assets. This is a hybrid role - 4 days in the office,1 day remote.Responsibilities:Coordination* Provide direction to market-facing traders and marketers regarding all buying and selling on behalf of the refineries.* Advocate for the Cenovus value chain.* Expected to connect product markets back to crude supply.* Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize various costs and distribution processes.* Interpret VCP&O output to support the development of distribution plans.* Coordinate cross-functional goals and objectives consistent with Cenovus values and ensure Supply team accountabilities and expectations are being met.* Provide leadership and support for team members to build an enabling environment to develop their potential.Pricing* Execute strategies to optimize product pricing and market positioning.* Effectively position HMSC rack pricing based on supply and alternative demand outlets and strategies.* Achieve sales volume and margin targets.* Effectively set daily rack pricingReporting:* Monitor and track KPIs and prepare performance management reports for senior management.* Identify and support opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.* Ensure plans are generated integrating all relevant facilities and positions.
