Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Assistant Project Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to p erform on a variety of engineering/ project management duties related to coordination, quality checks, reporting, planning and delivering.
What You'll Be Doing:
Manage and control all the project communications related to the project.
Coordinate and control all deliverables including follow up internally with design teams to meet project deliverables.
Projects' quality management.
Provides guidance to the team working on the same project.
Support the Project Manager in ensuring that project deliverables are met.
Attend meetings with the clients and internal stakeholders - Stakeholder management.
Project reporting and supporting the PM in preparing weekly, biweekly and monthly reports on the project progress.
Coordinate with finance to issue the invoices on timely manners.
Contributes as a team player who is deadline driven and works well with others.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized university.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management ideally working on infrastructure projects (Roads, Utilities, Community Developments, Master planning).
Working knowledge of CAD, Microsoft office and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.
Excellent written and oral communications skills in English.
Familiarity of industry practices and regulations are required.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Potential to perform in a lead capacity.
Engineering consultancy experience is preferred.
