Responsibilities You will be engaged in planning, development, procurement, testing, integration, installation, utilization, modification, management, troubleshooting, and maintenance of SIPRNET and NIPRNET network services to support the installation. You will perform all functions involved in the long-range and short-range planning for the delivery of network services throughout the region by developing project Plans of Action and Milestone. You will provide direction, guidance, and develop policy for local telecommunication network and system operating units, centers, or network control facilities. You will develop a variety of correspondence, e.g. command orders, directives, standard operating procedures, etc. You will promote safety, cost reduction, incentive awards, and suggestion program, conduct position management reviews and management analysis to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Identifying and developing data required for use in the planning and implementation of IT policy initiatives in support of development programs; Participating in the development and documentation of long- and short-range policy planning efforts; coordinating activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees. In addition to the specialized experience above, your resume must include information technology related experience which demonstrates each of the following four basic competencies, as defined: 1. This requires submitting a new ANACI Personnel Security Investigation (PSI) every 10 years.
