Supervisor Molding (m/f/d)

　　Job Overview

　　TE Connectivity's Molding Teams operate assigned automated molding machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

　　your main tasks:

　　Coordination of the day-to-day business of the production area in cooperation with planners, shift supervisors, line inspection and the repair department

　　Supporting the head of department in all related activities

　　Personnel management of the production area

　　Focus on compliance with occupational safety standards

　　Ensuring quality and avoiding bottlenecks

　　Process responsibility for the non-universal or universal molding area

　　Continuous improvement of production processes

　　Support in personnel selection, evaluation and training

　　Ensuring machine availability and coordinating repairs

　　Focusing on targets (control chart, scorecards, KPIs, etc.) and supporting implementation

　　Supporting the strategic development of the department

　　Cross-departmental cooperation

　　Target-oriented cooperation with process technology and special products areas

　　Support and supervision of working students

　　your profile:

　　Completed vocational training as a process mechanic (m/f/d) or equivalent (m/f/d)

　　Successfully completed further training as a technician or master craftsman (m/f/d)

　　Several years of experience in the production area

　　SAP knowledge

　　Good knowledge of English is an advantage

　　High level of self-motivation and quality awareness

　　Confident handling of LEAN tools (e.g. S5+1)

　　Independent, structured and goal-oriented way of working

　　Entrepreneurial thinking (in terms of responsibility, goal achievement, prioritization, problem solving, flexibility, organization, communication, assertiveness and resilience)

　　Communication and teamwork skills

　　Experience in injection molding

　　Experience in personnel management and conflict management an advantage

　　Six Sigma Green Belt an advantage
