Job Description

　　We are seeking 2-4 Senior Developers expert in Scala or Java to join one of our major cruiseline clients based out of Miami, Florida. These positions are open to being remote. These individuals will join a team responsible for building and maintaining pre-existing and new applications used for bookings, vacation modifications, etc. This person should be a senior level candidate who is self-driven and can operate independently with minimal handholding. They should have hands-on experience with Java or Scala, Rest or gRPC, and substantial expertise in Unit Testing, Integration testing, API and application design experience. This is a long-term growth opportunity to join an expanding team, with potential to move into a lead position!

　　Skills and Requirements

　　· 7-10+ years development experience

　　 · Proficiency in Java or Scala programming (** Internal note: Scala is HIGHLY preferred - if Java, needs to have some exposure OR be comfortable switching to Scala, more difficult / technical.)

　　 · Extensive experience in API and application design

　　 · Strong knowledge of REST or gRPC

　　 · Familiar with Apache Kafka (or another similar platform compatible with Scala and Java).

　　 · Expertise in Unit Testing, Integration Testing, related practices

　　Self-driven professional who can operate independently with minimal handholding null
