  Private Brands is fast-growing within Amazon, and is a highly visible, emerging business. We have a unique business and obsess over quality and building global brands our customers love.   The Role: We are looking for an exceptional Sr. Product Manager to help build a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution for Global Private Brands. Product development in Private Brands is a complex and global process. Some of the steps involved in getting a product from inception to Amazon customers include product design, vendor sourcing, quality and compliance testing, mass production, and post-launch reviews to determine what product to bring to customers next. This product interacts different retail systems across all Private Brands verticals and is used by many different types of internal and external users, making this a truly complex and challenging space with many opportunities for automation. The goal of this platform is to improve speed of product development, drastically reduce the time to market, and enhance productivity across the different stages of product development.

  What do we expect you to do? You will work with stakeholders across global marketplaces in Hardlines, Softlines, Consumables, and Private Brands to define requirements and gain alignment to deliver a seamless product experience for several PLM platform modules. You will set the vision and build solution from scratch. This is a unique role that offers a great opportunity to build something new, work across strategic businesses, and interact with global stakeholders. This will be no easy feat as this requires alternating between big picture thinking and obsessing with the details, identifying risks, and being a true product owner.

  Key job responsibilities

  The ideal candidate will:

  Display exceptional written and verbal skills

  Be comfortable presenting to senior leadership

  Drive alignment among both business and technical stakeholders

  Develop a deep understanding of the WW Private Brands product development process

  Own the development of both high level vision and detailed product requirements documents for several PLM modules

  Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and project management teams to deliver on the product roadmap

  Seattle, WA, USA

  Basic Qualifications

  Bachelor's degree

  Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  Experience managing technical products or online services

  Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

  Preferred Qualifications

  Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

  Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
