Description
We are looking for a seasoned Social Media Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience with a good track record in managing diverse social media campaigns. You should have gained this relevant work experience, ideally within an agency environment. This role requires a degree in communications, marketing or any related field.
Responsibilities:
Formulate comprehensive social media strategies for government entities and state agencies.
Manage multiple social media accounts across different platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn.
Collaboratively work with the account team to generate innovative ideas and develop integrated social media concepts that align with our brand’s goals, aimed towards our target audience.
Regularly draft and schedule engaging organic social copy that aligns with our clients' messages and values.
Monitor the performance of various social media initiatives and report on the key metrics.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in social media and digital marketing.
Facilitate scalable growth through data analysis, customer segmentation, A/B testing and the use of CRM.
Efficiently handle social media crises or negative feedback, preserving brand reputation.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
A minimum of five years of experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role, with a special preference for candidates with previous agency experience.
Experience with drafting organic social copy for government entities or state agencies.
Proficiency in major social media platforms and management tools.
Strong understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns.
Superb multitasking abilities and the capacity to manage several projects simultaneously within strict timelines.
Have an excellent grasp of English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrate understanding of the latest social media trends and best practices.
