Texada is seeking our next Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our rapidly expanding company. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in talent acquisition, enhancing the candidate experience, optimizing our recruitment processes, and bolstering our competitive edge.

Work location and travel
This is a remote/hybrid position, with occasional travel as needed for on-site recruiting events or meetings at our Mississauga office. Candidates from GTA are strongly preferred.
Position Status
This opportunity is initially a three-month engagement with full-time benefit status. The position may possibility turn into a longer engagement based on on-going business needs.
How you will be contributing
Sourcing and Attraction: Utilize your 5+ years of experience to attract, evaluate, and refer candidates for technical and non-technical positions. Employ various sourcing methods, including recruiting websites, employee referrals, search firms, and through our internal ATS.
Understanding Technical Requirements: Gain a deep understanding of the technical positions we are hiring for and develop compelling job advertisements to attract the right candidates.
Screening and Evaluation: Efficiently screen resumes and applications, contacting potential candidates to assess their fit within our organization.
Interview Coordination: Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
Offer Negotiation: Extend job offers and skillfully negotiate compensation packages to secure top talent.
Onboarding: Initiate and oversee the onboarding plan for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
Efficient Position Filling: Work diligently to fill assigned technical positions efficiently and effectively, meeting critical hiring timelines.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with hiring managers and other stakeholders to align recruitment efforts with the company's strategic goals.
Lead or participate in other assigned projects
What we are hoping to find in your background
A minimum of 5 years of talent acquisition experience in technical recruitment.
Demonstrated expertise in sourcing and attracting top technical talent.
Proficiency in understanding technical requirements and crafting effective job advertisements.
Strong screening, interviewing, and negotiation skills.
A bachelor's degree is preferred but not mandatory.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
A passion for keeping up with industry trends and a proactive approach to stay ahead in the recruitment landscape.
