A self-motivated research associate with a bachelor's degree and more than two years of experience is needed in Dr. Kang's laboratory. She/he will be performing a variety of laboratory tasks and experiments that directly support the primary research focus. The research associate will perform iPS cell culturing and employ cell and molecular biology techniques in preclinical models to make detailed observations, quantitatively analyze data, and interpret results. Two or more years of research experience in a research laboratory.Preferred experiences: (1) sterile cell culturing, reprogramming and differentiation of iPSCs, (2) protein concentration (BCA) assays, other enzymatic/biochemistry assays, Western blot, (3) RNA extraction, RT-PCR, RNAseq sample preparations, and/or transcriptome data analysis (4) proteomics-metabolomics-lipidomic sample preparations, and/or multi-omics data analysis (5) immunofluorescence microscope, confocal microscopy, (6) adenovirus vector handling/expressing technique.Key Skills, Personal Characteristics, and Key Competencies
