About Senior Public Affairs Coordinator

  This role is HYBRID, on-site 3 days a week at our Washington, DC office.

  Assist with stakeholder engagement coordination across Public Affairs, Corporate Communications and Marketing functions.

  Provide overall administrative, operational and logistical coordination for public affairs group.

  Assist with research, writing and review of communications and materials authored and delivered by SVP Public Affairs.

  Assist with preparation of high-level confidential materials for Board of Directors or Executive Committee / Operating Committee meetings.

  Plan and coordinate the delivery of projects, on time and on budget. Establish clear timelines, monitor and manage progress actively, record and report on progress, and resolve and escalate issues appropriately.

  Assists in meeting management. Develop and prepare materials, send invitations, coordinate logistics, and other tasks for events.

  Assists with high-level confidential projects, which may include creating supporting documentation such as graphs and charts and/or reports.

  Serves as administrative liaison within or outside the company regarding issues related to Public Affairs.

  Read and follow the UL Solutions Standards of Business Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.

  Experience in government affairs or public affairs work

  Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all executive levels, including the ability to influence the prioritization of schedules

  Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, adaptable to new assignments and meeting deadlines

  Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions based on information presented or researched

  Ability to effectively manage complex projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  Ability to collaborate; effective team player

  Excellent project management skills required with great attention to detail, and strong

  work ethic

  Total Rewards: The salary range for this position is $75,000-$110,000 of the salary range and is based upon years of experience that is commensurate with the level of the position.

  All employees at UL Solutions are eligible for annual bonus compensation.  The target for this position is 10% of the base salary offered. Employees are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental & financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country, for the relevant position level.  

  We also provide employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
