This position requires a senior level environmental professional responsible for leading complex environmental projects. Primary duties will be to provide consulting services for a broad array of environmental projects, including regulatory compliance, Phase I and Phase II ESAs and Brownfields grant management. The candidate must be able to identify, evaluate, and recommend remediation strategies/designs to address environmental impacts. This may include leading environmental site investigations, design and development of plans and specifications, engineering analysis, observation, inspection, and reporting. Duties will include the preparation of applicable technical documents including proposals, reports, remedial action strategies, and regulatory agency correspondence.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Ability to cultivate strong relationships within a team.
Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, evaluate risk, and deliver quality products on time.
Apply sound engineering/scientific principles and be able to communicate complex engineering/scientific issues and concepts to technical and non-technical clients and project teams.
Analyze analytical data and develop recommendations in written reports.
Develop technical specifications for remediation and remediation systems for impacted sites.
Assist in establishing and updating current policies and procedures for technical projects in field of expertise.
Provide technical direction and training to less experience professional staff.
Participate in the development of marketing strategies and presentations of qualifications to clients on projects.
Be responsible for creating and modeling a safe work environment and ensure support teams follow safety rules and guidelines.
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years’ experience.
Preference given to individuals with Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Professional Geologist (PG) registration.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
