　　We're looking for a Senior Principal Software Engineer with at least 10 years of relevant experience to join the Engineering Health team within our Core Engineering organisation, reporting to the Head of Engineering in a fully remote position.

　　With experience in driving improvements in engineering, you will help us in our mission to continuously improve Atlassian's engineering approach, so that we can sustainably deliver customer value at speed.

　　Our team provides the data, tooling, processes and rituals that literally thousands of Atlassian developers, engineering managers and execs use to help them determine where they need to focus to build better systems with less waste.

　　We work with domain experts across security, reliability, performance, cost, compliance and support. You will become the Atlassian domain owner for internal quality where you'll build a network of experts across the company to define the bar for mature development practices and identify the most impactful insights we can provide teams!

　　What you'll do:

　　Utilise your expertise to define the bar for mature development practices.Join the leadership team where you will provide guidance to our teams and evolve the Engineering Health strategy.Coach technical leaders both inside and outside the department on their growth journey.Delight Atlassian developers by keeping us at the forefront of research and industry trends in the domain.Partner with technical experts across Atlassian, solving challenges for company-wide goals, often spanning across several departments.

　　10+ years of technical experience as a software engineer.5+ years experience as a cloud architect, defining and driving software technical roadmaps.A record of empowering teams with data and building transformational changes to engineering culture.
