What You’ll Do
Plan, coordinate (locally and globally), manage/execute and report on, key projects and initiatives as received through the Global New Initiatives Risk Assessment (NIRA) process, overseeing GWO operational impacts, readiness, and post-implementation review.
Provide support and coordination of operational readiness assessments for strategic projects and business initiatives where there is a cross-functional impact (as assigned).
Develop and implement operational readiness criteria, checklists, and tools to monitor and measure the readiness status and progress of new initiatives.
Assess the operational risks, impacts, and gaps of new initiatives and develop mitigation strategies and action plans.
Engage and communicate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration on operational readiness objectives and deliverables.
Partner closely with GWO Sustainment & Control leads in Utilities to ensure line of sight to new initiatives and ensure Utilities conduct operational readiness testing, validation, and verification to ensure the quality and functionality of new initiatives.
Help resolve any operational issues or challenges that arise during the operational readiness process.
Provide operational support and guidance to the new initiative owners and users during the transition and post-implementation phases.
Manage and report on the operational readiness timelines and key risks
Identify and document the operational lessons learned, best practices, and feedback from new initiatives and share them with relevant parties for continuous improvement.
Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge and a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.
Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
Connect and partner with GWO leads in region who plan and execute readiness locally (e.g. US NIA, UK NAFL) to ensure consistency in approach, best practices and consolidated reporting for GWO globally.
What You’ll Bring
7+ years of experience in Capital Markets operations (COO, Middle Office, Back Office)
Understanding of Capital Markets products and services
Experience in project management is helpful or experience leading large change initiatives.
Ability to work independently across multiple initiatives in a time sensitive environment.
Work Arrangement: This position is currently a Hybrid role. Please note that this is subject to change based on the needs of the business.
