Kforce's client, a growing and established engineering technology company is seeking a Senior Low-Level Embedded Software Engineer in Chandler, AZ. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. The company offers a competitive compensation package.Responsibilities:

　　Senior Low-Level Embedded Software Engineer will develop high quality software using a rigorous development process

　　Performing software unit testing using the Unity framework

　　Maintaining and implementing BSPs, bootloaders, and drivers for VxWorks Operating Systems

　　Performing code coverage using Gcov, or similar tools

　　Review and provide feedback on software requirements from a verification perspective

　　As a Senior Low-Level Embedded Software Engineer, you will provide guidance to less senior software engineers

　　Create kernel, bootloader, and DKM projects with Wind River Workbench using VxWorks Operating System

　　Work with external customers and internal team members to solve complex software and system issues

　　Perform revision control

　　Create VDDs and software releases

　　BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar field

　　At least 8-10 years of experience in embedded software engineering

　　Strong development experience using C programming language

　　Experience performing code coverage using Gcov, Atlassian or other similar tools

　　Experience maintaining and implementing BSPs, bootloaders, and drivers for VxWorks Operating Systems or similar (Will consider other RTOS experience)

　　Experience developing software test cases

　　In-depth knowledge of Wind River Workbench and VxWorks 7.0 (Will also consider other RTOS experience)

　　This position requires access to US Export Controlled Information

　　Ability to manage multiple priorities with little supervision

　　Experience with assembly language, LabVIEW, Perl, or Python are plusses but not required

　　Experience in highly regulated industries such as Military, Aerospace, Medical Device, Electronic Manufacturing, Consumer Electronics would be ideal but not required

　　Experience performing software unit testing using the Unity framework or other types of frameworks are a plus

　　The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
