Work on design modules including the Host Interface (PCIe), Encryption, and
other key System-on-Chip design modules for Micron's next generation of solid
state drive controllers. Work on all phases of the ASIC design process to bring
design from concept all the way to production silicon. Work closely with the
architecture team to help define the architecture and design specifications. Work
on RTL Design phase by implementing the design in Verilog and working closely
with the verification team to fully validate the design. Work on synthesis and
timing to deliver a gate netlist to the back-end implementation team which meets
timing and physical constraints. Work with the FPGA and ZEBU platform teams
to help debug and validate design on those platforms. Work on design bring-up
on actual silicon on development board working with the FW and system design
teams towards eventual drive production.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in
an ASIC design engineering-related occupation.
The US base salary range that Micron Technology, Inc. estimates it could pay for
this full-time position is $172,900.00 - $256,000.00. For additional pay & benefits
