What We Are Looking For:
The role ofthe Senior ElectricalEngineeris responsible formaximizing client relationships in the assigned region andprovidingleadership and mentorship to professional colleagues, consisting of both direct and indirect reports. It is also the role's responsibility tomaintainan averageutilizationtarget rate of70% byprovidingprofessional services to electric utility clients in the areas of subject matterexpertise.
What You Will Be Doing:
On behalf of all PSE practice areas, manage the relationship of assigned electric utility clients within the region,includingMinnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Northern Iowa.On behalf of all PSE practice areas, develop new electric utility client relationships in the region.Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Northern Iowa.Present at conferences on behalf of PSE on current and relevant topics to the industry such as distributed energy resources and electric vehicles```{=html}
```- Direct andparticipatein developing power delivery plans for short- and long-term planning of electric utility distribution systems.- Direct andparticipatein developing coordination/sectionalizing studies andproviderecommendations for improved sectionalizing schemes.- Provideongoing technical operation support to clients, including, but not limited to, developing switching procedures, motor starting analysis, equipment sizing and specifications, system maintenance, relay and control setting, and power quality investigations.- Activelyparticipatein utility client projects via project manager, engineering consultant, technical review person, or senior technical support with the intent ofmaintaininga 70%utilizationrate.- Direct and participate in developing miscellaneous utility studies including, but not limited to, distributed energy resource system impact studies, arc flash hazard analysis, power factor correction, and system reliability.

```- Assistand collaborate with other departments where technical, communication and strategic thinking skills canbenefitothers.- Support special projects and initiatives assigned by department Vice President or company President.- Manage client relationships,provideclient support in areas of technical competencies, and coordinate client support by other PSE colleagues outside of technical competencies.- develop new electric utility client relationships in the region.Assistwith business development activities including marketing visits to prospective clients in South Dakota,WesternMinnesota, North Dakota,andIowa.- Provideleadership, mentorship, and coaching to direct reports and less experienced colleagues within the organization.

What You Will Need:
Essential Skills:

```- Works well on teams and individually- Experience withMilsoft, CYME,SynergiElectric, or other similar engineering analysis tool.- Working knowledge of the NESC, RUS, ANSI, and applicable IEEE standards.
Position Requirements:
The candidate must have a BSEE with a minimum of4years of working experience in the electric power industry.```{=html}
